Possibility for rain on Sunday as clouds form over some parts of Qatar
The country has been going through some intense heat and humidity over the last few weeks. However, possible rains on Sunday night could give people a brief respite from the heat, said the Qatar Meteorology Department.
“Local cloud development may be rainy in middle northern areas and some Southern areas by tomorrow, Sunday daytime,” tweeted the Met Department, along with a radar image of cloud formation.

The Met department said the weather inshore will be hot, with some clouds at times that could become humid and hazy later. Wind inshore will blow at between 5 and 15 knots, in the Northwesterly-Northeasterly direction before becoming Easterly later.

The visibility will be between 4 and 8kms. While sea state inshore will be one to two feet, offshore will be one to three feet, surging to four feet in eastern places at times.
