The 'Civil Defense' headqurters is a well know landmark that even has a roundabout named after it. However, the building now appears to be getting prepped for demolition

According to a Qatar Museums Authourity (QMA) spokeswoman, Doha’s former Civil Defense headquarters is going to be transformed into an art center that focuses on “exchange between local artists, the community and the booming art scene in Qatar."

The new center, however will host galleries, a café and children’s play areas, making it an interesting new venue for tourists and art enthusiasts.
