HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser has launched her official Facebook page

By Mariam M.

HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser launched her official Facebook page @mozabintnasser, and we've all been scrambling for the "Like" button to stay up-to-date with one of Qatar's most influential royals.

She is the third prominent member of Qatar's Royal Family to join social media in such an official capacity.

To give you an idea of her influence, HH Sheikha Moza has been actively engaged in education and other social reforms in Qatar for many years, and has played a major role in spearheading national and international development projects.

Thus far, the page has documented Sheikha Moza's recent visit to France, where she spoke at a joint event between Education Above All Foundation and UNESCO, as well as a private visit to a girls' school in Morocco.

Her Highness launched Education Above All (EAA) internationally in 2012. The global initiative aims to foster development and generate a global movement, with a particular focus on areas affected by poverty, conflict and disaster, the needs of children, and the empowerment of youth and women.
