New application centre for Schengen visas to The Czech Republic opens in Doha

By QLNews

If you are planning to travel to The Czech Republic and are looking for a Schengen visa for a visit, then things have just gotten a whole load easier for you.

This is because a new, dedicated application centre for Schengen visas to the country has opened its doors in Doha, reported The Peninsula.

The Embassy of The Czech Republic in Qatar and VFS Global have jointly launched the new facility, which can be used by both citizens and expatriate residents alike.

The new facility, which is located in Room No.301 at the Jaidah Square’s third floor in Airport Road, will provide outbound travellers from Qatar a convenient channel ensuring enhanced quality of services and seamless procedures.

Applicants will also be able to complete their biometric enrolment at the same application centre.

VFS Global has been associated with the Client Government of The Czech Republic since 2008 and presently serves applicants through a vast network of 100 Visa Application Centres across 24 countries.

All applications submitted at the Visa Application Centre in Qatar, as well passports entrusted with VFS Global, will be transferred to the Visa Application Centre in Kuwait, which will handle all entry permit submissions to The Czech Republic.

Passports submitted for visa stamping will be delivered back to the Visa Application Centre in Qatar for collection or couriered to the address provided by the visa applicant during the application submission process.

VFS Global will take all relevant measures to handle the applications safely and facilitate smooth and timely processing.

The centre also offers optional Premium Lounge services to visa applicants for more personalised service as well as door-step delivery of passports.

Visa applicants can direct their queries and appointment requests to the call centre number +974 4 4231188 or at info.czechdoha@vfshelpline.com.
