Qatar Petroleum announces fuel prices for August 2020

By QLNews

Fuel prices in Qatar will go up from August 2020, according to the latest fuel price list issued by Qatar Petroleum.

Effective from tomorrow, August 1, 2020, one liter of Premium Gasoline will be available for QR 1.20, marking a difference of 10 dirhams from its price in July.

Super Gasoline can be purchased for QR 1.25 per liter. This is five dirhams up from its July price.

The price of diesel has climbed up 15 dirhams from QR 1.10 per liter in July to QR 1.25 per liter in August 2020.

After a sharp drop in prices between March, April, and May this year, with no change in fuel prices in June, July saw a prominent increase in fuel prices in Qatar.

Fuel prices in the early months of this year had been on a downward spiral and were one of the lowest Qatar had witnessed in recent years.

However, this trend was broken by the price announcement for July 2020.
