
QSF setting up to host the Qatar Classic Squash 2015

October is a busy month for The Qatar Squash Federation (QSF). It is abuzz with all the preparations for the hosting of the Qatar Classic Squash 2015 (Men and Women).
Qatar Classic Squash is well reputed sporting event which will begin from the 29th of October and will take place at the Khalifa International Squash Complex.
The preliminary rounds of the prestigious event will kick off on 29 and 30 of October meanwhile the main rounds will begin on 31 October until November 6.
The organizers of the event will be awarding men with a prize money of $ 150,000 and for women with a prize money of $ 95,000.
The president of the QSF, Nabeel bin Ali, said that the best squash player in the world will once again take part in the QSF Qatar Classic Squash and he also said that for the first time since 2011, the best female squash player in the world will also be a part of the event.
He further added, “Qatar continues to grow as a squash nation year-on-year and we are delighted to continue our support of the PSA World Tour for another year in what is a brand new era of joint-governance for the sport."
The event is expected to bring together 100 of the best squash athletes from different parts of the world to Doha. The audience will be able to witness 100 nail biting matches played within 6 days.
The tournament is an annual fixture on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) calendar and has been drawing almost all top players. It is one of the nine events of the top-tier PSA World Series. [QNA]
