WATCH: HH the Amir directs sending urgent relief aid to Sudan
Last year, the country affirmed its full support to ensure Sudan’s stability and sovereignty and backed the formation of the new Sudanese government, calling it an important step toward the realization of the aspirations of the Sudanese people.
Qatar also delivered relief-aid to flood-stricken areas in Sudan to alleviate the suffering of thousands of families affected by the natural disaster.
Now, as Sudan faces another catastrophe where floods this year have injured 46 people, inflicted damage on more than half a million people and caused the total and partial collapse of more than 100,000 homes, Qatar has once again stepped up to offer assistance to the brotherly country.
