WhatsApp calls are now unblocked in Qatar

Great news for residents and citizens of Qatar as the Voice over IP service of WhatsApp has been restored, enabling individuals to make voice calls over the highly-popular, cross-platform application.
I made a whatsapp call to see if it works in qatar now and accidentally ended up making a 3 hour call?

(it works)
Residents in Qatar were able to make voice calls over WhatsApp until early 2017 when a disruption occurred, limiting individuals to use the application only for messaging.
According to several complains made by residents in the country, voice calls through popular chat apps like WhatsApp, Viber and FaceTime were affected.
Finally Whatsapp calls are now unbanned in Qatar.

Now, the voice calling feature has been unblocked. Qatar Living verified the news by making a WhatsApp voice call and it worked!
VoIP calls are much cheaper than direct calls and have been highly advantageous particularly for expats and workers who have families living in their home countries.
