Qatar Airways wins World's Top Airline for Eighth time

Qatar Airways has once again clinched the title of the world's best airline at the 2024 SKYTRAX World Airline Awards, held recently in London, marking a record eighth victory for the airline. This accomplishment underscores Qatar Airways' consistent excellence in the aviation industry over the past 25 years of the World Airline Awards.

This year, Qatar Airways reclaimed its coveted title from Singapore Airlines, which secured the second position, followed closely by Emirates in third place. The airline not only excelled in overall service but also received accolades for Best Business Class for the 11th time, Best Business Class Lounge for the 6th time, and Best Airline in the Middle East for the 12th time.

Group CEO of Qatar Airways, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al Meer, expressed his pride and gratitude, stating, "This award is a testament to our relentless dedication to providing unparalleled service and innovation. I am honored to share this recognition with my hardworking colleagues and look forward to achieving more milestones in the future."
The SKYTRAX rankings are based on an extensive online customer survey conducted from September 2023 to May 2024, with participation from over 100 nationalities and featuring feedback on more than 350 airlines.
