Qatar to carry out stringent inspection campaigns during Eid

By QLNews

As part of its preparations for Eid Al-Adha, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) announced that its competent authorities have intensified continuous inspection campaigns in Qatar.

The Ministry’s efforts will be focused on controlling food establishments, squares, mosques, roads, public parks, and beaches.

Moreover, The preparations included tightening control over slaughterhouses and sacrifices, emphasizing the use of precautionary and health measures to ensure proper workflow, strengthening health control over restaurants and health facilities, and ensuring compliance with all health requirements.

Beach campaigns have also been stepped up, with the goal of directing and educating the public about the etiquette and controls of using public places during the Eid Al-Adha holiday, as well as providing containers and guide signs, distributing waste bags to beachgoers, and monitoring and prosecuting violations.

During the Eid Al-Adha holiday, the Ministry confirmed the provision of equipment, machinery, and staff at beaches and slaughterhouses to carry out the essential labor and tasks.

Fishing and picnic boats will be monitored, and joint inspection campaigns with the Coast Guard will be conducted to control marine violations. The Ministry also stated that all Eid chapels will be cleaned in preparation for the Eid Al-Adha prayer, and pesticide spraying and rodent control operations will be intensified.
