Qatar Central Bank increases interest rates

As per Monetary Policy Committee's decision, the Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has announced that it will be increasing its interest rates starting today. Keeping the evolving domestic and international macroeconomic developments, QCB has taken this decision.

QCB announced this change in a tweet on Wednesday, stating that the deposit rates have increased by 75 basis points (bps) to 3.75%. This also includes the QCB Lending Rate (QCBLR) to be raised by 75 bps to 4.50% as well, and the QCB Repurchase Rate will have 75 bps.
