The Qatar Central Bank's deposit rate will be increased by 75 basis points to 2.25% today.

The bank's lending rate (QCBLR) was also increased by 50 basis points to 3.25%

It also agreed to raise the QCB Repo Rate by 75 basis points to 2.50 percent in the same context.

The decision to hike the interest rate was based on local and international economic data, according to the Qatar Central Bank in a statement released today.
