Qatar Charity urges people to donate to urgent relief campaign for Palestine
Qatar Charity (QC), the country’s official charity organisation set up in 1992, has launched an urgent relief campaign titled ‘For Palestine,’ aimed at meeting the urgent humanitarian needs of the strife-torn nation in the areas of food security, shelter and health.
“The campaign comes as part of QC’s humanitarian duty to alleviate the suffering of the affected Palestinian people in this challenging time,” said a statement from the organisation.
The campaign aims to contribute to providing fuel for hospitals and vital facilities, essential medical treatments for the wounded, and food for needy families.

It will also seek to meet safety and disease prevention needs, in addition to providing blankets and shelter supplies to alleviate the suffering of families who have lost their homes and are now living in the open.
“The challenging humanitarian conditions in Palestine call for solidarity with our brothers there, emphasising the need to support humanitarian and relief efforts to meet their basic needs,” said Ahmad Yousef Fakhroo, CEO’s assistant for the Resources Development and Media Sector at QC.
He urged benefactors, companies and other commercial entities in Qatar to support QC’s ‘For Palestine’ campaign to enable it to reach more number of affected people and meet their urgent humanitarian needs.
People can donate through the QC website or by dialling the hotline 44290000. Donations can also be made at QC’s various branches and collection points across the country.

For the people of Palestine, you can make the following dua:
"اللهم انصر الأقصى وأهله وارفع الظلم عنهم وأعنهم على من ظلمهم وانصرهم على أعدائهم يا قوي يا عزيز"
Translation: "O Allah, grant victory to Al-Aqsa Mosque and its people, remove the oppression from them, assist them against those who wronged them, and grant them victory over their enemies, O Mighty, O Powerful."
For the people of Jammu and Kashmir, you can make the following dua:
"اللهم ارحم أهل جموع وكشمير وثبت أقدامهم وانصرهم على الظالمين وأعنهم على الصبر والاحتساب"
Translation: "O Allah, have mercy on the people of Jammu and Kashmir, strengthen their resolve, grant them victory over the oppressors, and assist them in patience and perseverance."
