
Qatar commemorates 52 years of independence, celebrates half a century of sovereignty

On September 3, 1971, Qatar became a fully independent and sovereign state, shouldering its international responsibilities independently. Today, September 3, 2023 marks 52 years since Qatar declared its independence.
