
Qatar education system aims to provide quality education for all

Keeping the Qatar National Vision 2030 in mind and constantly working towards better education, The State of Qatar confirmed that it has adopted advanced systems to provide quality education. Further affirming the importance of the right to education, the Third Secretary of the permanent delegation of the State of Qatar in Geneva Abdullah Behzad, outlined the framework of the plan to the council's agenda during an interactive session with the Special Rapporteur on the right to education before the Human Rights Council at its 50th session.
The council was shown the progress that the country has witnessed in the field of science and information technology, intending to make sure they trend towards employing digital technology to serve a better educational process. This comes with the goal of providing an advanced technological environment in schools, which the Ministry of Education and Higher Education have already done by adopting the e-learning strategy. Furthermore, the Ministry has launched an e-learning program intending to develop an education process and provide electronic services based on integrated digital technology, intending to improve the high quality of teaching and learning.
It was further highlighted that Ministry of Education and Higher Education, that distance education system was also launched as part of the precautionary measures during COVID 19, and five electronic platforms were allocated, that also included the e-learning portal. This included electronic devices for teachers and students, to make sure the process was streamlined.
