Qatar Foundation (QF) students, ever since the start of the attacks in Gaza, have been organising a host of activities to raise awareness about the atrocities and raise funds for the affected people.

So far, their hard work has helped raise QAR20.4 million as donations.

QF’s Pre-University Education President Abeer Al Khalifa said she was deeply moved and inspired by the student’s initiatives to help Palestinian people.

“Their drive to make a difference — through creative and compassionate efforts to collect donations — is a testament to the values we strive to instil through our educational system,” she said.

“These young individuals aren’t just students, they’re emerging leaders who embody empathy, global citizenship, and a profound sense of social responsibility. Their efforts, extending beyond the classroom, show education's role in developing caring and proactive individuals,” she added.

Al Khalifa said the solidarity and assistance shown by students indicate they are not merely gaining knowledge about global challenges but are also proactively engaging in actions to better the world.

“Their actions in supporting our brothers and sisters in Palestine show great compassion and global awareness. This shows our students are more than learners, they’re actively making a positive impact in the world, which makes me proud and underscores education's role in shaping change-makers.”

Here are some of the key initiatives and events organized by students from QF’s Pre-University Education schools for Palestine:
