Qatar to host colourful Kite Festival from March 16 to 18

If you are looking to enjoy some quality time outdoors with your family, then the Visit Qatar Kite Festival will be the perfect event to make some new memories.
Though the venue is yet to be announced, hundreds of multicoloured kites are set to dot Doha’s skyline from March 16 to 18.
While professional kite fliers from different parts of the world will thrill the audience, children are invited to attend a kite workshop, where 1,000 kites will be given away for free.
Spectators can also enjoy day and night kite flying in Qatar’s skies. Live entertainment and food kiosks will make the family outing even more enjoyable.
Skydiver, actor and voiceover artist Regan Tetlow will present the entire event to the public.

Balloon and Kite events are not new to Qatar. This year, Qatar Tourism announced a slew of entertainment events, including the Qatar Balloon Festival and the GKA Kitesurfing Tournament.
After a tough fight, winners of the GKA Kitesurfing Tournament had been crowned at the Fuwairit Kite Beach.
Earlier, the Aspire International Kite Festival had wowed visitors in 2019 while the Korean Kite event at the Museum of Islamic Art Park was also a huge draw.
