With each passing year, Qatar has strived to host bigger and better events in various fields. After 2022’s FIFA World Cup, the country will now shift its focus towards the technological front next year.
In March 2024, Qatar will become the first country in the Middle East and North Africa region to host Web Summit, the world’s largest technology conference featuring thousands of international entrepreneurs, investors, and the next generation of leaders reshaping the world.
The conference will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre between March 4 and 7, 2024.

Web Summit outlined three reasons why it felt more than 7,500 people would gather in Qatar next year for the conference.
“Three reasons: incredible speakers eager to share expertise, unparalleled networking opportunities with entrepreneurs, and proprietary software that will maximise your experience. Web Summit Qatar will help connect a new generation of founders in the Middle East to investors, journalists, customers, partners and more around the world, and represents a new opportunity to develop an already fast-growing tech scene in the region,” it said on its website.
