Qatar experienced rains in some parts of the country a few days ago, in the Al Utouriya region in Al Shahaniya. It was followed by a thick shroud of dust which enveloped some parts of Qatar, leading to low visibility.
Qatar’s Civil Aviation Authority had recently said that August 10 would mark the first night of the star of Al Kilaibein, also known as Al Nathra, which will last for 13 days.

Al Kilaibein is the sixth among summer stars and the last in Jamrat al Q’aith. The star of Suhail will appear in the middle of Al Kilaibein, during which the temperatures will slowly begin to go down.
“The star of Suhail is projected to appear above Qatar’s skies on August 24,” Dr Bashir Marzouk, an astronomer at the Qatar Calendar House (QCH), was recently quoted as saying.
