Qatar Post releases commemorative stamp set for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Match Ball
Qatar Post has announced the release of a set of stamps commemorating the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Official Match Ball, Al Rihla.
In accordance with the agreement with FIFA, Qatar Post has become the official licensee for the category of stamps for the tournament that will be held in Qatar this year. The entity announced the launch of the new stamps on their social media.

In keeping with Qatar Post's mandate to document all events, celebrations, and preparations managed by Qatar in preparation for the upcoming tournament, the launch of the Official Match Ball stamp set comes in cooperation with FIFA and, for the official match ball issue, its sponsor Adidas. Each stamp embodies the unique culture of Qatar, which will host the first-ever FIFA World Cup played in an Arab country, through its distinctive designs.
This will be the eighth issue in the series, and the public will be able to purchase the stamp set for 15 QAR. In the initial phase, 20,000 copies, 3,000 First Day issue envelopes, 3,000 Postcards, and 3,000 VIP folders were printed. For this issue, Qatar Post will also produce a VVIP folder in a very limited edition to showcase this unique stamp set.
As part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Qatar Post has invited its Customers and philatelic collectors from around the world to enjoy this newly released edition.
