Qatar Post unveils FIFA World Cup Qatar Official Poster Stamp Set 2022
In wake of the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022, Qatar Postal Services Company has unveiled
the much-awaited Official Poster stamp set. Under the licensing agreement between Qatar Post and
Federation International de Football Association (FIFA), the former became the official Licensee and was
designated as the exclusive provider of stamps for the forthcoming tournament.
The stamps are distinctively designed with the intent to praise each phase of the World Cup
preparations leading up to the momentous event. Each pattern commemorates the rich history and
culture of football in Qatar. The country has the credit of building the most eco-accommodating
stadiums along with exceptional infrastructural improvements which are nothing short of
commendable. 20,000 copies, 3,000 Postcards, 3,000 First Day issue envelopes and 2,000 VIP folders
have been printed as the first stage while the stamp issue will be sold to the public for a fee of QR15.

for delivery & Legacy to launch this series of stamp editions, which falls within the Qatar Post program to
document all events, occasions, and preparations related to hosting the most anticipated and the biggest
football tournament in the world,” commented Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Post Faleh al-
Naemi.
The launch is set forth in cooperation with The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) which is
responsible for planning and operations and is an integral part of accelerating the progress leading up to
the historic FIFA World Cup 2022. Qatar Post, as per its mandate has the task of tracking all the
preparations and matches managed by the state of Qatar. Philatelic collectors and clients of the Qatar
Post have been formally invited from across the globe to revel, appreciate and take joy in the newly
released edition of the stamp set.
