Qatar promises $50m as aid to support Sudanese humanitarian efforts
Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani announced a $50m aid package to help the people of war-torn Sudan on Monday.
The aid is being sent as part of Qatar’s humanitarian response plan for Sudan and regional plan for refugees, stemming from the country's fraternal responsibility and moral and humanitarian duty.
