Qatar sends two more planes carrying 46 tonnes of aid, six ambulances, to Gaza

Qatar has always been a strong voice for the Palestinian cause, helping the country in its most difficult times.

Ever since Israel started its heavy bombing campaign in the Gaza Strip, Qatar has been working closely with different countries to help bring about a ceasefire. Qatar has also been donating generous aid packages to the beleaguered nation.

On Saturday, Qatar sent another two planes — belonging to the Amiri Air Force — to the Egyptian city of Al Arish for distribution in Gaza.

The planes carried 46 tonnes of aid, including six ambulances, provided by the Qatar Fund for Development and the Ministry of Public Health. This brought the total number of aircraft Qatar has sent to Gaza to 16, with a total of 579 tonnes of aid provided.
