Qatar urges immediate cessation of Gaza conflict
In an official statement, Dr. Majed bin Mohammed al-Ansari, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emphasized Qatar's unwavering stance of ending the conflict in Gaza promptly. Stressing the need to halt the violence to safeguard civilians and their properties, Qatar appreciates American efforts aimed at de-escalation.
During the weekly press briefing, the spokesperson reiterated Qatar's focus on compelling all involved parties to stop the war, end the bloodshed, protect civilians and their assets, and facilitate unrestrained humanitarian aid delivery to Gaza. Dr. Al-Ansari warned against further displacement of the Palestinian people, underscoring that such actions lack legitimacy under international laws.
Despite challenges such as the recent events in Lebanon involving Saleh Al Arouri and ongoing Gaza massacres complicating negotiations, Qatar remains actively engaged in mediating efforts and sustaining communications with involved parties.
