Qatari aid arrives in Al Arish for Gaza

On Saturday, December 23, 2023, two Qatar Armed Forces aircraft landed in Al Arish, Egypt filled with 33 tonnes of essential aid - comprising food and medical supplies - jointly provided by the Qatar Fund for Development, Qatar Red Crescent Society and Qatar Charity. This humanitarian assistance is set to be transported to Gaza, emphasizing Qatar's steadfast commitment to aiding the Palestinians.

This recent delivery marks a significant contribution, escalating Qatar's aid effort to a total of 49 flights, dispatching a substantial 1,534 tonnes of crucial support. In addition, in an extension of their aid endeavours, a Qatari aircraft embarked from Al Arish Airport carrying the fourth group of injured Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. These individuals are en route to Doha to receive specialized medical treatment, aligning with HH the Amir's compassionate initiative aiming to medically assist 1,500 Palestinians.
