QIFF, fireworks and other exciting activities to take place during corniche road closure for Arab Cup

Fans and visitors can look forward to the largest Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF), in addition to interactive installations, a musical water show, and the largest monumental LED installation on Corniche Street from November 26 until December 4 this year.
The 2021 FIFA Arab Cup Qatar Local Organising Committee (LOC) held a press conference today to announce the details of the Doha Corniche closure and transportation preparations.
The festivities are in conjunction with the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup as the Qatar International Food Festival activations are set to take place on Corniche Street and in Al Bidda Park.
Unlike the activation for QIFF on Corniche Street, QIFF in Al Bidda is scheduled to take place for 22 days from November 26 until December 17.
The food festival will be open on weekdays from 3 pm to 11 pm and on weekends from 3 pm to 1 am and will feature 12 food trucks, 145 food stalls, hot air balloons, music, and fireworks.
Moreover, Corniche Street will be closed for private vehicles during the event from November 26, 2021, till December 4, 2021, with only public transport being allowed during this time and necessary arrangements are being put in place for smooth movement of fans.
During the closing period, alternative transportation options such as the Doha Metro and Karwa buses will be available to transport people to their destinations.
Corniche Street will be served by seven of Doha Metro's 37 stations and over 40 bus stops will be served by public transit buses.
