QRDI and US-Qatar Business Council Sign 5-Year Memorandum of Understanding
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the US-Qatar Business Council (USQBC) and Qatar Research, Development, and Innovation Council (QRDI) at the Qatar Economic Forum signifies a major leap forward in bilateral relations. The MoU was signed by Eng. Omar Al-Ansari, QRDI Council’s Secretary General, and Sheikha Mayes Al Thani, Managing Director, USQBC Doha, on the Innovation Day at the Qatar Economic Forum 2024, on 16th May 2024.
This strategic partnership underscores a shared commitment to fostering a vibrant innovation ecosystem that benefits both nations. The five-year agreement will serve as a bridge, connecting US companies with Qatar's dynamic R&D landscape and propelling collaborative innovation projects.
The USQBC, a leading advocate for US-Qatar economic ties, will leverage its established platforms to facilitate American business participation in Qatar's exciting R&D opportunities. This will bolster Qatar's innovation ecosystem but also unlock new avenues for US companies.
