Samer Gerges Promoted to Director of Operations at Le Royal Méridien Doha

Le Royal Méridien Doha is proud to announce the promotion of Samer Gerges to Director of Operations, effective June 2024. Samer was previously the Multi-Property Director of Sales and Marketing for Le Royal Méridien Doha and Agora Doha, Autograph Collection.

Samer brings a wealth of experience in hospitality management to this new role. His career began in Lebanon at the Grand Hotel Kadri - Zahle, where he honed his skills in front office and reservations operations. He then climbed the ladder at Marriott International, eventually becoming the Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing. In this role, he oversaw sales and marketing strategies for a diverse portfolio of properties, including prestigious names like the JW Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott, and the Arraya Ballroom.

Samer further expanded his responsibilities by overseeing sales and marketing strategies for properties across the Gulf Region, including The Sheraton in Downtown Manama, Bahrain, and the JW Marriott in Muscat, Oman to name a few.

Since joining the Le Royal Méridien Doha and Agora Doha, Autograph Collection team, Samer has made significant contributions to the hotel’s sales, marketing, and revenue performance. He has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of the hotel industry.

Samer's impressive track record in hospitality management, coupled with his proven ability to lead and inspire teams, makes him the perfect candidate for this key position.
