Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal makes record $332m bid for French superstar Kylian Mbappe

Saudi Arabia has recently been making attempts to lure the best footballers on the planet to their domestic league.
After Al Nassr FC’s signing of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, they have come up with another audacious bid of $332m for French superstar Kylian Mbappe, who is currently playing for French side Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
PSG confirmed the €300m offer for its player and has given Al Hilal permission to open direct negotiations with the player.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, who also played in the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, is in a contract stand-off with PSG after deciding not to take up the option of a 12-month extension on his deal.
Instead, he plans to walk away as a free agent at the end of the upcoming season and is widely expected to join Real Madrid.
PSG did not take Mbappe on its pre-season tour of Japan. The French side is determined to sell Mbappe unless the player signs a new contract with them.
