Sheikh Mohammed discusses humanitarian truce in Gaza with Iranian Foreign Minister

Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held a meeting with Iran’s Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Hussein Amir Abdollahian on Thursday.

The two leaders discussed the latest developments in Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, particularly efforts related to the humanitarian truce and the steps being taken to implement it.

The meeting also discussed ways the two countries could cooperate to help Palestinians overcome the impact of the aggression.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed stressed to Abdollahian the necessity of protecting civilians, an immediate and complete ceasefire, and working to prevent the expansion of violence and conflict in the region, which will have serious consequences for everyone.
