Emir receives positive letter from King of Morocco

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a written letter from HM King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco. According to Gulf Times, the message concerned bilateral relations and ways to boost cooperation between the two countries and achieve common interests.
The letter was given by Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, during a meeting with HH the Emir and his accompanying delegation at Al Bahr Palace, yesterday.
The Minister conveyed the greetings of HM King Mohammed VI to HH the Emir, wishing him good health and happiness and the Qatari people progress, development, and prosperity.
The Peninsula reported that in response, HH the Emir entrusted the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs with his greetings to HM King Mohammed VI and wished him happiness and the people of Morocco further progress and prosperity.
Since the illegal blockade of Qatar began last June, Morocco's King Mohammed VI has offered to mediate between Qatar and the states that cut ties so abruptly, according to a report by Al Jazeera.
Days after the debilitating Crisis began, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Morocco released a statement that the kingdom was ready to play a "constructive and neutral" role in the dispute.
