Is it true that the Qatari Embassy in DC, have recently started giving 10-year Tourist Visas to Americans? Can anyone confirm that?

No i am not annoyed at you but as my thread said about the attitude of SOME Qatari people!

Yeah understand what you mean by the visit visa extention for ten years, but it also means you can stay upto three months at a time instead of the standard 21 days :)

Sammie, I have family living in Doha, and I don't want to keep getting Visas to Qatar and have to pay to get in every time I wanna see my family. Also you said "Sorry still annoyed by the comment the other day!" What comment is that, is it something I said?

And yes, they used to give 10-year Visas to Americans, but they stopped right after 911. My question is; are they back giving American these Visas again?

Why would an american want a ten year tourist visa in the first place? if they are not working why come over here?
