Best value for money compound
I justed wanted to share with you all the simple pleasures of life that one can enjoy from the facilities of a compound. The compound in question is called the Al-Sultan Gardens situated on Salwa Road behind Safari Supermarket (near the old Castle Roundabout). As soon as you enter the gates, you are greeted with natural sring water pumping up from the well concealed and overfilled spetic tanks. The fragrance is stronger than any perfume you have ever smelt and sufficient to kill any germs or flies on your car. If you are lucky enough to have the windows open upon entry than your entire vehicle and accupants are guaranteed a desease or two courtesy of the compound. In fact, all visitors are treated fairly and with the greatest respect and no one leaves the compound without a free gift of either poisoning, sore throat, headache, chest pains, physical sickness or even a trip to the local hospital where you have the option to stay overnight with meals provided.
If you happen to enter the compound at speed and are not fully exposed to the welcome on entry, please do not despair. Management have catered for this eventuality. They have strategically placed similar septic tanks along the entire entry Road to make sure that they fulfill their promise of a free gift.
Residents at the compound have the cleanest shoes. Strange you may think but again credit has to go to the management for this idea. As you exit from your vehicle, you naturally step into real nature and this naturally forces you to clean your shoes, amazing.
The compound is fantastic for children and is probably the only compound in Doha which again gaurantees that you have regular check ups at the hospital to maintain their good health. My children are always coughing, sneezing, being sick and so on and as a result..... were do i take them???, exactly to the hospital, courtesy of the compound. One of the largest overfilling septic tanks is located next to the childrens play area. This is specially designed for the overcrowed families who wish to shed a kid or two. If they survive the inherited disease from the fragrance then there is always a chance that a brick will cause them injuries sufficient enough for you have them checked up at the h..... you are getting the hang of this. and not forgetting the large holes where even adults can disappear if they are not careful.
If after reading this you are about to hand in your notice to your landlord, then please be warned, there is a long waiting list.
The compound used to suffer from Cock Roaches but not any more, thank to the natural frangrance they have all died.
patty, how much are they asking for in that compound, and how many bedrooms is it and is is furnished or not.
I always tell the truth, even when I lie
Mabe the new owners want the existing tenants to quit the place so they can double the rents.
"If your number one goal is to make sure that everyone likes and approves of you, then you risk sacrificing your uniqueness and, therefore, your excellence."
there is one place availeble in a compound called y garden 8 next to all sad stadium. Maybe you can try that.
I also live in this compound and can confirm all the horror stories of this compound. We moved into this place in September and my kids have not been allowed to play outside the house even once. The other day, my better half decided to let them play in the basketball court only to find that there were broken glass pieces all over the place. The kids saw the mess and decided to come back on their own. Whoever owns this dump and the caretakers of this dump just don't seem to care.
I have sent an e-mail to the municipal authorities with regards to the health and safety issues in this compound. No response...not that I am surprised.
I am trying to get the owners information...no luck.
So, I am looking to move out asap.
Sorry I don't know more and I'd hate to be sending you on a wild goose chase but the lady did say she had 8 still open. :)
We just have a friend who moved in a few weeks ago. I forget the woman's name whose running the show but she's usually in the club house area. I don't think the compound has a name yet but you can't miss it if you are going down Fourisiya and you past the race track on your left and go through that roundabout. The compound is just up the road on the right it's very modern looking with rounded walls on the buildings and it's pale green and tan. Best wishes.
Thanks for the info, are you able to provide more details of the exact location of the compound or any contact details for the lady in question. I am interested in having a look.
I don't know what your gem of a place cost or what you want to spend but I know of 8 villas available (as of last week) at a brand new compound near the horse track. Don't know what they cost but they are nice and I think the lady said they're even going to have a cafe in there. Only 28 villas total.
My employer shy's away when it comes to talking about accommodation. This was sourced by myself through desperation at that time, now I am desperate to leave.
You have not asked your employer to move you yet?
