COUNTRY RENT A CAR LOOTING MONEY ON CAR RETURN

By jpkdoha

PLEASE BEWARE WHEN YOU USE COUNTRY RENT A CAR SERVICES. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU MINIMUM 500QR PENALITY EVEN IF YOU RETURN THE CAR IN ORIGINAL CONDITION.

COUNTRY RENT A CAR IS THE WORST SERVICE IN QATAR. THEIR JOB IS TO MAKE PROFIT BY LOOTING CUSTOMERS ON CAR RETURN... I HAVE HEARD CASES IN WHICH CUSTOMERS HAD TO PAY 2000QR FOR JUST SCRATCHES ON CAR.

THEY WILL LOOT THE CUSTOMERS BY LISTING PROBLEMS WHICH ARE UNREASONABLE.

THEY WILL CHEAT YOU BY SAYING THAT SEAT IS DIRTY (AND CHARGE 300QR AFTER A LOT OF BARGAIN) ALSO IF YOU DELAY OIL CHANGE THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A HUGE PENALTY...

IF YOU HAVE SIMILAR EXPERIENCE ..GUYS PLEASE SHARE...

I think it's better to read "the paper" before signing than later crying in the Internet.

Or at least do some research about company before renting decision.

Venting anger on QL does not do anything apart from warning others, if feel really grieved by their services please report to Consumer Protection department.

They are big cheaters. They will not refund money if you want to return car before end of monthly contract. They will charge you exorbitantly if you have minor dent or scratches. Last year they charged me 1600QAR for minor scratches .

Better to avoid them or be ready to be duped. their barwa village branch is the worst and most unprofessional.

How come no action is being taken against such cheaters?
