Dead bodies ashes turns into Beads:
Who wants to try this to the cremated bodies of your loved ones? It’s creepy to think that that the beads your wearing in your neck are made of ashes from burned bodies of your loved ones..
Or can you imagine yourself turn into pieces of beads? ;)
“The ashes of one person can produce four to five cups of beads, Bae says, although the ashes of young people have a higher bone density that can yield up to eight cups of beads.”
“Bae believes his company has an important edge over rivals. His beads are made purely from human remains with no added minerals, which he says other companies blend in.”
Greedy people always come with crappy ideas for money. :(
I suppose it would be nice for some people to have such a reminder of someone they lost, however I don't see the appeal of beads made from a stranger.
DK, I don't think they really care that much...;)
Wise question mate. :)
nomerci, so there's one question for you..do the remains of the dead continue to belong to them even after death?
I am sorry, but I would not like to drape the remains of dead people around my neck. No thank you.
gtim, If you ever go to an open creamation yard where hindus burn the dead, at night you may see a faint greenish white glow from the freshly cooled ashes. This glow is the result of phosphorescence from traces of elemental phosphorus which may be formed during burning but oxidise again soon.
@surinder raj, exactly this is a CP, but just sharing to those who haven't read it. If you wanna write your original story post it here, let qlers know your talent in writing. :0
@ Doha Knight, thanks for the input. :)
Human ashes are mainly oxides and salts of Calcium and Phosphorus, not much different from the composition of oyster shells or corals..now you know why its not difficult to make beads out of it.
Thanx 4 sharing this article
Faboulous, doesn't mention in the article how big is the cup. But agree that the article is interesting.
Pardon me if this is irrelevant but...how big is the cup?
Interesting article nevertheless.
