I am in need of some inspiration. Can you help by suggesting a really good book that you have read recently. My collection is getting "stuck in a rutt" and needs some help. All suggestions are welcome, but please keep them clean and available in Qatar!!! Thanks. :)

JERVIS: Is the last book in "Wheel Of Time" out yet?

As for the original post, I can strongly recommend Stieg Larsson's Trilogy "The Girl WIth the Dragon Tattoo", The Girl Who Played With Fire" and "The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest".

Any motivation given by any Book wont last more than a month...

NO matter how good the book is.

It is not something you have to feel guilty about...

And think you not doing the things the way mentioned...

it is natural...

To be motivated to do something... think of the success .. or wht after reaching the goal....

If you really want it...

You ll go for it.....

Chase the dreams....

If you try to do wht others think you can - CONFIDENCE

If you try to do wht others think you can't - over confidence....

But if you know wht you want... and have energy to believe you ll get it - THT is INTUITION which is never wrong.....

Not yet. I have about 3 or 4 more on hand to read. Have read the following:

Bleachers

The Summons

The Brethren

The Runaway Jury

The Chamber

The Client

A Time to Kill

and nearly finished the Broker.

All great books, apart from Bleachers as it is focused on American football which I know nothing about!

Happy to pass them on...

MrsTimebandit - I agree, she's so talented.

Jervis - Paulo Choelo is a fantastic writer, but it can take some time to understand his ways. I've had to put a couple of his books down and go back to them after a couple of days when I've been in the right frame of mind for his style.

Snessy....yes, it's pretty new I think. It's my favourite book of hers. She was a pundit on 'Strictly Come Dancing' last year, and she was absolutely hilarious! She's had a lot of problems in her life, and she uses those in her books - she's very clever at weaving comedy and tragedy together.

Is This Charming Man new? I've not read that one.

Marion Keyes is also great - intelligent chick-lit. I read 'This Charming Man' recently, and it's fantastic - a good mix of humour and serious issues.

100 years of solitude rewarded a Nobel Prize to Gabo Garcia.... is a very interesting novel where you can find a lot of references of latinamerican culture, the way of thinking of Latin american people about many of things, like, our ancestors used to think that when relatives got married their kids would born having a pork tail...may be such believing was inspired by specifics cases but they generalized, such belief is told in the novel and is well known across most of latin american countries that our grandpas or their grandpas used to believe that... is a nice history..long but nice.... i only read it in spanish, but had a look on the english version and is quit good...
