Hair found in KFC chicken
Dear Friends,
Today evening I went to KFC with 3 of my colleagues. We ordered Snack Box and started enjoying the finger-licking taste. But suddenly I noticed a black thing inside the chicken piece. We examined and found that it was a 1 inch long hair. We all got very angry with this unhygienic thing and called the manager. He apologized and told that he will give us free meals and whatever else is possible from his side if we'll not file complaint.
Nevertheless I called Baladiya and complained about this case. I also took the pictures and tomorrow baladiya people will come to collect those picture and they promised that action will be taken against KFC.
I'm talking about the one located at Wakalat Street in Industrial Area.
I am very disappointed because I used to think that KFC is very hygienic.
Lets see what Qatar's municipality will do.

What would you do if you found hair in the food cooked at home by your wife? Try calling the Baladia and see the result even before they reach your home!

u have done the right job.With the fear of this complaint and subsequent inspection(if any),restaurant people will take some extra care.If one prefers to take it easy and not to complaint,how do u expect improvement in hygiene?

Ok what you said I true so in this case can you ignore the rest for a simple test can you sit beside the garbage box and eat your meal or sit just in the toilet and have your meal I do not want to use another example on the meal but if you see you react to it, if any human do not react on such act he or she is not a human they are animal who do not have sence.

This is not a hair-raising incident! Agreed you had a hairline escape from ingesting a hair and I am not saying you shouldn't turn a hair about this hair but to tear your hair out and then splitting hairs about it here is looks like you have a hair-ball in your stomach..:)

Well, if a hair bothers you, then better stay away from ALL restaurants. Do you think because YOU don't see it it's not there? Have you ever been in a restaurant kitchen?????
Man, there is nothing wrong in what you did...I can see some comments that " It is only a hair"..but maybe it is the tip of the iceberg..
Baladiya will not impose a fine or close the restaurant because of your complaint, they will do their own inspection and then decide..If they find that the restaurant functions in unsanitary conditions, then should it not be closed?? You are doing a service to society when you report a restaurant that is unsantary, hundreds of people might be eating there on a regular bases..
and again, KFC is a big chain, nothing is going to happen to them or the employees, even if they are closed for a month

Being a Sri Lankan, KFC removed Halal certification in Sri Lanka, so I decided to give up KFC forever. No worries..

We once saw a cockroach crawling out of the ice cream machine in McDonald's. A man was calling to complain and the manager was constantly begging him not to call. We just thought to leave the place afte seeing the insect.

Once we were dining in a well know restaurant, we have been served with stinky rotten mutton masala, immediately we cancelled the order, but stop short of complaining to the municipality, thinking closure of the restaurant will affect the livelyhood of many employees associated with it, but never ever visited that restaurant again.

You are overly sensitive. Have you requested DNA testing on that hair to check on the identity of the owner, It could be yours!
where human bien working there are chances of hair falling as human bieng used to have hair 90% on thier body.. so it is not matter to take seriously. haa if cocroach/insect then ok. call baldiya / police...

My friend, there have been cases where people who eat fast food now and then have been identified with lots of diseases including cancer. So pls avoid all kinds of fast/junk food.
chill out man... it's a piece of a hair at a fast food place.
Probably the cleanest and healthiest part of the meal that you got was that piece of hair.
