Qatar is bustling with fresh activities. New events and places are cropping up at a fast pace. Check out these parks, cafes, recreational sites and restaurants that opened recently.

The new coffee place in Qatar stands out on its own. For connoisseurs of coffee their search for the perfect taste ends here. The owners make you feel at home and serve you the best coffee. Irresistible Cafe

The name says it all. This is the perfect chocolate haven for people with sweet tooth/teeth. This Qatari owned café pays attention to chocolate delights and all things waffle. Everything is a great blend of chocolate, waffles, crunchy nuts, kinder topping and more. Irresistible Café is located at Qanat Quartier, The Pearl Doha, Qatar.

They have introduced delights like Irresistible salted caramel popcorn topping, Irresistible mini pancakes with kinder sauce and crunched lotus, Sweet and sour, red velvet pancakes to name a few.

During Ramadan the timings are:

Sundays to Thursdays: 7:30 PM - 1:30 AM

Fridays and Saturdays: 7:30 - 2:00 AM

Mainland China restaurant has recently opened in Al Sadd and offers a fresh Chinese cuisine experience. Customers vouched for a few of their dishes as their favorites, like Wasabi Prawns, fried rice, stir fried duck in chili sauce and dumplings.

Sunday – Wednesday: 12 PM -  3:30 PM, 6:30 PM - 11 PM

Thursday:  12 PM -  3:30 PM, 6:30 PM - 12 AM

Mainland China restaurant

Al Khor Park

The largest park of Qatar was being renovated and opened up recently for the public. It offers a perfect family outing with recreational activities for everyone. It includes, a waterfall, an aviary a miniature golf course, battery-operated train, children’s play area, a basketball court, amphitheater, skating area and a museum.

Opening times:

8 AM – 10 PM daily.

Every Tuesday is reserved for children and ladies only.

AL Khor Park

Chinese Food Cultural Festival

Get a taste of China in this food and culture festival. There are live performances showcasing the Chinese culture and stations of Chinese food where you can eat the authentic cuisine.

The Chinese performers will display their stunts from June 15, and the food festival will be supplemented from June 30 to July 6.

Venue: Dragon Mart China Mall.
