The holy month of Ramadan is under full swing and Qatar is all glammed up with Ramadan themed decorations and activities and events for everyone.

Since Ramadan comes with a host of spiritual obligations, it is best that we prepare well. In addition to stocking up on day to day Ramadan essentials, families with children need to come up with alternative plans to make the holy month exciting for the little ones.

Iftar time with little children can get a bit challenging. Children need constant entertainment and the daily requirement to be on their good shoes for an extended period of time can be a little taxing.

For your convenience, we have compiled a list of places where the children can play around while you break your fast. Here’s a list of places where you can break your fast outdoors in Qatar with your family.

Museum of Islamic Art Park (MIA Park)

MIA Park is a popular picnic spot and during Ramadan, it is an excellent place to break your fast. The park has ample space for children to run around and play in addition to play areas and water fountains. You can bring your mats, tables and chairs along with your food to MIA Park to enjoy an iftar complemented by spectacular views.

The park is also in close proximity to Abdullah Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center (Al Fanar Mosque) that offers Taraweeh prayers.
