Bin Yousef Group will be donating QAR 200,000 worth of food to Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) to support the charity in offering Iftar meals during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Along with a mix of healthy food and confectionaries, Bin Yousef extends its wishes and prayers in the current pandemic situation.

The group's Chief Operating Officer, David Ford said, "We as a group understand the difficult times that everyone is under, and although heavily affected ourselves we are trying to bring some support to the Doha community.

We hope that this partnership with the Red Crescent, in the spirit of giving of Ramadan will give relief to some of the less fortunate who are perhaps even more affected by the physical and mental burden of the lockdown."

Established in 1978, Bin Yousef Group, which holds Bin Yousef Cargo, has been actively involved in supporting the economy and society for several years.

By assisting in time-critical cargo logistics of hospital building initiatives and chartering delivery of PPE masks into Qatar for COVID-19, along with various other non-profit campaigns with Qatar Cancer Society, the group aims to encourage its staff and partners in the spirit of kindness and generosity.
