WATCH: Immerse in a delightful Ramadan experience at Marriott Marquis
The holy month of Ramadan is an occassion to get together with friends and family over the two very special meals that enhance the joy that this blessed month brings - the Iftar and Suhuour meals.
Mariott Marquis's Ramadan offerings are everything that you need when considering an option to relish your Ramadan meal with friends, family or colleagues.
With the gaiety of the holy month and in celebration of fasting, Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel has opened its renowned Ramadan tent, Wanassa hosting exclusive offers that embody the true spirit of the special occasion.
The offerings include a traditional Iftar and Sohour buffet served in stunning Wanassa tent and a special barbeque menu for Sohour at Aqua Lounge.
Iftar and Sohour
This year, Wanassa comes in an entirely new look. Featuring an authentic Souq Waqif-like experience with mesmerizing interiors that combine old colorful lanterns, big wooden doors and windows made of bamboo, the Ramadan tent presents a look reminiscent of the traditional domestic architecture of Qatar.
Wanassa offers bright, joyful interiors and live cooking stations that awaken the senses as guests step in.
Their experienced culinary team has created an Iftar buffet that is both steeped in traditional Arabic and Turkish flavours alongside international favourites too.
Arabic and Turkish mezze selections are stand out dishes, as well as the shawarma live station, oven baked fatayer and saj manakish live station that offer a modern twist to the traditional dish options.
In addition to Arabic fare, a variety of other cuisines are on offer, from a sushi and sashimi counter to a pasta and Indian culinary station.
The desserts go above and beyond delicious, with a traditional Turkish ice cream station, a designated cake counter, and mountains of Turkish and Arabic delights.
Guests may also order Ramadan juices, soft drinks as well as tea and coffee.
The cozy atmosphere of the Wanassa has a warm souq appeal, particularly with the sounds of an Arabic live band and a Tanoura dancer.
