I'm new to this country and I noticed it is strict on social issues but is there an LGBT community some place that is underground? I would like to meet other lesbian women.
@coxtown Well thank you, I guess..... Not sure what you mean about "end up in the street". It's not that serious. I have no problem doing my time here and then going back to the States where this is not an issue and we don't have to meet in parking lots.
Hello, thank you for the comments. To Magic Magnum, I haven't really noticed any "rampant" gay life in Qatar, especially among the women. I guess I can't speak on the male scene. Women are just low key any place you go, so I expect more so in a Muslim country. Is there any personals websites you can suggest that I can meet women? I've tried Mingle2 and I got one response. To Mast Kalandar, so gay people meet in "parking lots" here??
It is the customs of the general public interested in having illegal meetings to carry with them KFC and Recharge hala card during there meetings but it is not compulsory to have with them as some prefer other gifts
Lol, I don't know what rock you all live under both homosexuality is rampant with both sexes here. Seems QL'ers are all trying to be politically correct based on the forum. Just go clubbing, you will find your way. (Not that I agree with it)
Homosexuality is rife in Qatar both men and women but you won't find people advertising it here. It's technically illegal in Qatar. Hang around for a while and you'll find plenty of lesbian women. When you see the religious backwardness of the men here it is not surprising many women find comfort in other women....
From being the ideal getaway spot with families to the perfect BBQ venture, Qatar's family beaches come with facilities and safe waters for the entire family to enjoy.
Communication is important, and this is especially true when it comes to the workplace. One of the most significant ways for colleagues to communicate is through email.
Qatar is host to some of the most scenic beaches with some of the best memories of locals and expats being made here. From spotting marine life to camping on the beach, public beaches have always been popular in the country.

@piper, wishing you all the best in your novel journey in search of eternal peace. Beware, if it derails, you may end up in street # 1.

I very much doubt if there is one that someone will post it on a public social website.
