Doha Festival City is hosting a plethora of activities in celebration of Qatar National Sports Day this month.

Shoppers and visitors will enjoy a fun-packed month of sports and fitness activities with family and friends, with something for all ages and skills, both indoors and outdoors. 

Festival City’s outdoor track will witness running and cycling marathons for adults and children on both Fridays and Saturdays throughout the month from 8:00 am to 12:00 including the Sports day.

Visitors can also enjoy a brisk walk or run at any time they like with the outdoor track being accessible 24/7. The outdoor track is professionally built to suit runners and cyclists with variant skills ensuring they get the best out of their exercise time and enjoy their experience on the track.

A Sports for All Zone will be set up on the “Bird Island” located at the Angry Birds World featuring quick health check-ups daily throughout the month of February from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and on  Sports day from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. More fun awaits everyone in the theme parks atrium at the Kids Sports Activity area.

Game lovers can enjoy an exhilarating experience in the Xbox and Computer stations for free of charge or sign up for a life-like car race on the F1 racer simulator in Viturocity during the weekdays of this month from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

During the Sports Day, February 11, 2020, an obstacle course at Angry Birds World, will help all shoppers experience and enhance their mental and physical stamina from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, while Snow Dunes will have an Open Day for all Festival City visitors from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Virtuocity will open up its Virtual Reality rooms for an unparalleled game experience in celebration of the day from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

For the Crossfit community and fans in Qatar, Festival City is hosting the Doha Festival City CrossFit Championship 2020, sponsored by Adidas,  in collaboration with Crossfit Oryx, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on February 28.

In addition, Doha Festival City retailers are also offering many promotions and discounts, while some are hosting special activities during the month.

Technogym will organize a range of sports activities for visitors and shoppers, such as a sport equipment display at the Centre Court on February 1, with a trainer to explain the use and benefits of each gym equipment and the best way to use it. On Mondays, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, and Wednesdays, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Moreover, the store will be hosting a variety of yoga classes or sessions on healthy food habits, detox, ways to enhance exercise and make the best out of it. Oysho will also be welcoming customers for a super comfy yoga and meditation classes.
