WATCH: QL Adventures - Ice Hockey in Qatar!

The past few weeks have been quite challenging, but we are positive things will be fine soon.
With this hope, for today's QL Flashback Friday, we take a look down memory lane to one of the very interesting sports in Qatar: Ice Hockey!
For this QL Adventure, QL team members, Shaun and Camille set out to explore what goes down at Qatar's International Ice Hockey League (QIIHL).
Shaun takes to the rink decked up in the required outfit with all the protective gear, while Camille speaks to some of the officials, players, and fans of the league.
The sport emerged in Qatar in 2004, after College of the North Atlantic - Qatar (CNA-Q) held a mini tournament in City Center's ice rink. Over the years, new players came to the scene, forming more teams.
As of now, the league sees the participation of seven teams with over 120 players!
For those who are interested to join, the one main requirement is proficiency in ice skating.
According to QIIHL's website, its mission is to "make your hockey experience the best that it can be. We are striving to have a fun, recreational league while providing participants with the competitive flare that only an organized game can provide."
