WATCH: QL Adventures - we challenge Qatar's National Bowling Team

By QL Videos

In its customary way, the Qatar Living team decided to issue a challenge that might easily have been refused, but in the case of the Qatar National Bowling Team, we were gratified to have it accepted.

The Qatar National Team recently won gold at the World Championship Ten Pin Bowling Competition in the US, and so we issued them a challenge to go head to head at the Qatar Bowling Center. They said yes, and so commenced another QL Adventure.

On our esteemed team, we had Ash, QL’s General Manager, Head Content Guy Shaun, Azeem of Client Services, and Niyaz of Finance. Needless to say we were beaten, but not without putting up a competent enough fight.

Bowling wasn’t the only activity at the gathering. Shaun got a chance to speak with Mohammed Al Muraikhi, Jassim, Ghanim and Ali of the Qatar National Bowling Team about their win in the US.

At the World Youth Championship, they played Single, Double and Team events, as well as the Masters.

The team earned two gold medals, which was enough to win the title.

Their most recent competition was in Indonesia for the Asian Games.

Whatever happened that evening in terms of points, our team had an amazing time playing against some of the world’s best bowlers, who were all excellent sports.

Thank you to the Qatar National Bowling Team, and stay tuned for our next QL Adventure. You never know who we might challenge next!
