Qatar Volleyball League set to begin in October
The Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) has set next October as the date for the start of the men's league.
October will also be the start of the league for other age groups.
The decision was made during the meeting held by the association heads of the clubs, during which they discussed the start of the next season and the league structure.
President of QVA Ali bin Ghanem Al Kuwari chaired the meeting, in the presence of members of the Board of Directors and representatives of Qatar Club, Al Khor, Al Ahly, Police, Al Gharafa, and Al Shamal teams.

The league will be held in accordance to COVID-19 precautionary measures in place, in coordination with the competent authorities in the country.
The meeting also discussed the men’s league structure and that of HH the Amir cup.
The participants agreed during the meeting that there should be no change to the structure of the Amir Cup.
