Dear fellow residents,

Just now I noticed that I missed/loss my QID and I'm outside Qatar right now.

I have my last year QID with me and my current visa valid for 6 more months.

Please advise me the best way to enter Qatar and get ID.

Specially my worry is how to travel back to Qatar.

Appreciate your valuable advise.

Thanks.

Dears thanks for your valuable advise.

I think without e-gate I can enter Qatar via emigration stamp on PP but to show here in our country they will ask ID since visa no more attached to the PP from last few years.

2. If the person out side country cannot get new ID metrash2 not accepted loss ID option.

I think you can still enter the country but won't be able to use the E-gate service

You can get new QID via Metrash2 and they can deliver by Qpost. Then have someone send it to you in your country.

Alternatively you can check with your employer.

As Daniel has advised, there is no need for the QID when you enter Qatar. You get the HR people in your company to apply for a new one on your return.

You have to show your passport (with the Visa) at the airport immigration. They don't ask for your Qatar ID.
