21 High Street
A beautifully designed shopping district, 21 High Street offers a unique shopping and dining experience at Katara Cultural Village. 21 High Street is home to the luxury department store Galeries Lafayette and a variety of cafes and restaurants giving you the opportunity to shop and dine in comfort during peak summer. Having made its debut in March 2019, 21 High Street also holds the title as the world’s first outdoor air-conditioned space.

The stunning architecture at Place Vendôme Mall is a sight to behold! In addition to having outdoor air conditioning vents in its courtyard, the mall also has a canal that runs across its length with dancing fountain shows taking place daily. Lusail Boulevard has gained a reputation for hosting several world-class events, the most recent being the Akon concert and F1 Sprint. The 1.3 km boulevard stretch extends to the iconic towers of Al Sa’ad Plaza and features a variety of dining options ranging from fast food restaurants to instagram-worthy cafes and coffee shops. Modeled after the Avenue des Champs-Élysées; the boulevard is pedestrian friendly and an excellent place to beat the heat.

Referred to as the ‘Green Lung’ in Education City, the park features a 1.6 kilometer running track that winds its way around partially enclosed tunnels and walkways. The park’s outdoor air-conditioned spaces make it an excellent place to go for a jog or finish off some light workouts during the cooler hours.

Al Gharrafa Park
Having the title as the world’s first outdoor air-conditioned public park, Al Gharrafa Park has a 657-meter air-conditioned jogging track and pedestrian walkway, 639-meter cushioned bike path, two exercise areas equipped with fitness equipment, children’s play area and a place for children with special needs. Built with the purpose of encouraging both residents and citizens of Qatar to stay active during peak summer, Al Gharrafa Park is an excellent place for a family outing as it has something for everyone.

Umm Al Seneem Park
The 1,143-metre track at Umm Al Seneem Park, is the world’s longest air-conditioned outdoor walking track. In addition to the air-conditioned track the park also features a cycling track, play areas for children and more. The outdoor air-conditioned space at the park gives you the opportunity to escape the summer heat and stay active.
