Electric Idyll Exhibition by Pipilotti Rist
Qatar Museums is bringing to you Electric Idyll – the first survey exhibition dedicated to renowned contemporary Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist (b. 1962) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region — at the Fire Station: Artist in Residence in Doha. Electric Idyll marks the second major presentation of Rist’s work in Doha, following the installation Your Brain to Me, My Brain to You (2022), which remains on view at the National Museum of Qatar.

Lusail Speed Fest 2024
The prestigious FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) returns for its twelfth season, featuring high-speed action across eight rounds globally. Making its debut at Lusail International Circuit, the Qatar Airways Qatar 1812 km - FIA World Endurance Championship 2024 kicks off the season as part of the inaugural Lusail Speed Fest. Also during the event there will be a carnival atmosphere, live music and fun for all the family. Every day, the first 4,000 spectators to enter the venue will have paddock access. On Friday evening, Lusail Speed Fest will be hosting a pitlane walk and autograph session so you can get closer to your driving heroes. Lusail Classic, a support race exclusive to Lusail International Circuit, will also add to the fan experience.
