Brass Brilliance
Experience the melodies of the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra’s brass section soloists at a captivating concert featuring the extraordinary vocals of Paola Polinori. The orchestra presents a diverse programme spanning centuries of musical innovation. From the spirited Renaissance sounds of Holborne's The Fairy Round to the evocative contemporary compositions of Crespo's Ballade for Two Wings and Parker’s A Londoner in New York, journey through an eclectic mix of genres, from classical to folk, as the orchestra presents an unforgettable performance showcasing the talent and versatility of its musicians.

‘Neighbours of the Sea’ Exhibition
This exhibition presents the vision of artists Wafika Sultan Al-Issa and Hassan Al-Mulla, who are considered among the pioneers of fine art in Qatar. “Neighbours of the Sea” presents an intersection area for the artists despite the difference in the method of expression and artistic style, where the local environment and culture constitute a meeting point and a common inspiration for both. The exhibition presents more than 30 mixed-media paintings, some of which were created by the artists during their residency at the Fire Station Ruwad in Residence (2021-2023).

‘Etheralscape’ Immersive Art Installation
Etheralscape is an immersive art installation by Dr. AlKhuzama AlHarami and Guillaume Rouseré that merges the art of image and sound and delves into the interaction between nature and modern society. As visitors step into the space, they will be immersed in a sensory experience that combines captivating video projects of desert landscapes and calligraphy, with immersive soundscapes drawn from desert field recordings and other evocative sounds. The exhibition provides a peaceful escape for meditation which provides the opportunity to relax and take a break from the noise and stress of daily life.

IAID Student Artists Exhibition 2024 ‘At the Garden of O'Keeffe’
IAID, in collaboration with the Fire Station "Artists in Residence", will hold the IAID Student Artists Exhibition 2024 titled "At the Garden of O'Keeffe." This exhibition, showcasing 55 student artworks inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe, will run from 1 to 8 June 2024 at the Fire Station Annex (above café 999). Featuring pieces from IAID's Visual and Studio Arts course, the exhibition captures O'Keeffe's distinctive style through vibrant floral compositions and abstract landscapes.
